🧰 169#: Try automating follow-ups, the best way to record a podcast remotely, top eCommerce ads, and more

Your competition are the solutions your target audience employ

Your competition are the solutions your target audience employ

What solutions are your target audience employing today to try to solve the problems you believe they have.

The mistake we make is thinking that this is just other companies in the same category as ours.

At So Energy, we are creating the installation of Solar panels, initially, we could say that competitors are TONIK, EON, etc. Other companies that sell Solar panels.

However, this misses the real alternatives that people employ to solve the problem of having high electricity bills such as insulating their home, installing heat pumps, getting better windows. Another alternative is doing nothing.

I really enjoyed writing this issue, especially breaking down existing alternatives. I feel like this will help you build business models that solve critical problems rather than long term solutions that your target audience don’t see for themselves today.

If you enjoyed this it one thing you can do to support right now would be sharing it 👇🏾
