Good products need a strong distribution channel
Good products need a strong distribution channel
In the early days of building your product, you need to be thinking about acquisition channels.
This is as simple as candidly asking yourself the question Where does my target audience hang out?
Once you’ve thought about that, you can experiment with 2 channels at a time and measure.
💡 When I do this, I think about reach, the cost of acquiring customers and the setup costs. At the end of the day, you will spread your budget across 2 channels at a time and consider the best case and worst case revenue, ROI and sales conversion efforts.
This will help you answer the viability question of if your idea is suited for profitable and scalable user acquisition and whether the tactics are easy to implement.
