#109 How I stay productive and track my progress, FREE Udemy courses, Grant Funding (no equity)
Last Sunday was the last day of the first half of the year, and something dope happened. I looked back and I had somehow smashed through all my goals.
If there was a newspaper article describing my past 6 months it would say:
Yommy’s been on his own ting, silently ticking off the goals that matter to him
I know this, because I wrote this down when I revisited it.
If you want to know what I used, checkout this Goal Setting and Action Workbook. (Print it off and do it for the next 6 months). This is my second year doing it.
I also got a free Productivity Planner from a Meeting of the Minds event last year. Since then I’ve bought 2 because they are so good lol. (They are defo getting their LTV from me).
For me writing in journals and using fountain pens has really helped me to eliminate noise, de-clutter and I’m seeing the results of being more intentional about what I do. My personal goal is to focus on living a quality life and for me that’s:
Getting to talk about, work with or do the thing that interests me the most. That’s when working, playing and relaxing will be one and the same
So after modelling what other smart people have been doing, what have I gone and done? I went and copped the 5 Minute Journal.
Summary
None of these things are cheap, but they work for me - I see them as investments that will pay off over time.
After re-doing my Goal Setting and Action workbook for the next 6 months, I hope to end it by celebrating more wins.
