Shopify's Global Economic Impact Report
Great read on the role Shopify plays in the economy. What’s great about Shopify is that they are a true platform. I spoke about this a few issues back. A platform, enables people to build their businesses on top of it, making the platform even more valuable.

Culture Chat
Very authentic video by Grime artist D Double, who’s a hero in the UK. What I love about this video is that it shows that brands are willing to be more flexible with urban artists. Not only is the music uncompromising, I love the way they personified D Double in the video. A balance where the artist can have more creative control without being asked to water down his artistry as I imagine they would have tried to do if he was in the video.
This is similar to P Money being on Fifa for me 👏
IKEA – Silence The Critics - TV Advert 90 #WonderfulEveryday
Really enjoyed the fact that Mixtape Madness dropping game to creatives.
The thing they all had in common is that they are enabling artists with tools, aquisition and disovery. I can’t lie - I love Austin Darbo’s story, he started off as an Unqualified Hero and spoke of the importance of cultural data.

Las Olas Rum Club
This Founder realised that he loved rum (who doesn’t love Rum) and built something in this space. I love this. This does so much for representation - I hope people that look like me can see this and go after their dreams or be confident enough to explore their “what if’s”
