#156 Time-boxed UI improvements, #100DaysofDesign, system economic exclusion of black female Founders
Halfway through this week I started designing again and wanted to checkout some more RefactoringUI stuff. So after time-boxing an hour for it, I decided to put some of it into practise, luckily I had some hustle hours work where I had free reign.
Normally I rush straight into build, but I wanted to flex my muscles 💪🏽so I started with Adobe XD making good use of ‘Assets’ as I wanted some consistency.
Along the way I saw a font (Proxima Nova) that I really wanted. But after researching further I couldn’t justify the price. There’s a whole discussion around paying for fonts but luckily I found a similar font.
The one takeway I got is that clients pay for fonts.
Here's a sneak peak of the work in progress

Convert between color formats
I was looking for inspo this week and came across a HSL colour code. Figma didn’t use HSL but this tool helped me to find the equivalent
Converting Colors allows you to convert between color formats like HEX, RGB, CMYK and more. The current page shows the different conversions for Hex AC1EAE.
