Great example of smoke screen test
I came across this cool demo. This is a good example of a smoke screen test (it fooled me!)
First I was confused, then annoyed, then I smiled :)
Makers Vs. Boostrappers
Makers
primarily value two things:
building things for the fun of it
being seen, valued and validated by a community of other makers
All their energy is focused on themselves and trying to get well known within that very specific community…in general everything built is abandoned just as quickly.
Bootstrappers
Have a quest to make a sustainable living from a project
Balanced summary:
Many of the most successful [bootstrappers] are also at the center of the maker community. Many simple maker products turn into successful businesses.
