#87 Intro to JS, my Chatbot design and of course some tools and insights
This week I got my personal website working after overcoming some JavaScript (JS). I’m not a software engineer in it’s own right, but I’ve taught myself some basic Python libraries, and got myself comfy with HTML/CSS. JS was never in my plans, but I’m increasingly learning that this is more of a journey and I’m enjoying the ride.
I enjoyed this video because not only did the guy teaching it make it clear but he also focussed on making it less about syntax and features, and more about how to build and make things with those skills. I was looking for a structure that would work with me but I was sold when I heard him touch on building iteratively, and breaking big problems into small tasks.
