It's hard to find a balance when you're thriving through adversity
Hope everyone is enjoying the early signs of summer weather ☀️
One thing I’m greatful for is my support network, people I can bounce ideas with, have safe conversations and be vulnerable with - these people will never be unoticed 🙏🏾
Self belief, identity and how you confident you are in times of uncertainty - these are qualities I highly admire in people. I’m such an energy person I can feel it, before people introduce yourself - this is why I come across a little reserved sometimes.
It’s why I don’t feel uncomfortable when people speak about Kanye, Jordan, Ronaldo. I see the greatness - they all have character flaws, and you ain’t perfect, so don’t try it.
As an ambivert (means I value my own space just as much as I am energised by being around other people) I always find it funny when people say I’m introverted or extroverted. Just another assumption human beings make - we all have our biases.
5 things I’ve tried that you could (your mileage may vary)
Create your own personal board of advisors
Do the internal work and invest in yourself mentally and emotionally
Keep a gratitude journal
Track your KPIs so you’re not decieving yourself
Schedule self care (for me it was swimming Fridays - need to bring that one back!)
