Snap recently acquired a neighbouring LA-based drone company
In the last issue, I spoke about Snap’s disappointing IPO.
I’m sure you already know that Snapchat has decided to rebrand themselves as a “camera” company called Snap which is why this news is quite telling.
So as well as, showing 5-minute shows (neither did I know till this article) they have recently acquired drone company. A report from Variety indicates that Ctrl Me Robotics’ true expertise is customising existing drones to be able to carry heavy high-end cameras rather than specialising in producing drones.
It’s clear what game they’re in now…or is it?!

And boy oh boy does it look like Microsoft has decided to join the bandwagon with Snap-like features *cough, cough* stories!
